HALANY 2023 needs you! If you believe you can faithfully serve as an Executive Officer or a member of the Board of Directors, here is your opportunity to get engaged. Executive Officers serve for a one-year term and members of the Board of Directors serve for a two-year term. Currently, the open positions include: President-Elect, Vice-President of Membership, Vice-President of Scholarship and Fundraising, Treasurer, Secretary and five (5) Board of Directors.

To answer this call to serve HALANY in 2023, send your (1) resume and (2) a statement of interest to halany.elections2@gmail.com explaining any past involvement with HALANY detailing what talent, experience, skill, resources or any other contributions you can make as a Board of Director or Executive Officer. Be sure to identify your understanding and commitment to issues of importance to the Haitian-American community and highlight any activities showing your commitment.
In the subject line of your email, please indicate which position you are applying for using the following format: “2023 FULL NAME: position of interest.” For those applying to multiple positions, send a separate email for each submission.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 6:00pm.
Voting will start on Friday, December 30, 2022 and conclude on Thursday, January 5, 2023; voting instructions will be sent via Survey Monkey to all attorney members in good standing.
