President's Message

Sandra Dieudonne, Esq.

HALA-NY President, 2024-2025

 Ekselans!

As we embark on this journey together, I am reminded of the significance of this moment, not just for me but for all of us. As we commemorate the 220th Anniversary of Haitian Independence under the theme "Ekselans! Haitian Excellence in the Legal Community." This theme resonates deeply within our hearts as we recognize and celebrate the rich contributions of the Haitian community to the legal profession. As President of HALANY, I am filled with a profound sense of responsibility and commitment. I am dedicated to building upon the legacy of those who have led before me, fostering excellence, diversity, and unity within our legal community.

In the coming year, HALANY will continue to be a beacon of knowledge and empowerment. We will strengthen our commitment to providing valuable Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs, legal clinics, and networking opportunities. Together, we will forge new partnerships, engage with the broader community, and champion the cause of justice.

I extend a warm invitation to each one of you to actively participate in the endeavors we have planned. Your involvement is pivotal in shaping the future of HALANY, and I am confident that, collectively, we can achieve remarkable milestones.
